We are looking for an Internal Operations Junior Associate to join our team and support the day-to-day activities of our Internal Operations department. You will play a critical and exciting role in the growth and compliance of the Sarwa team.

This role blends elements of operations administration, UAE PRO responsibilities, compliance analysis, and People & Culture support. If you're someone who thrives on variety, has a background in administration or operations, is highly organized and detail-oriented, and enjoys tackling new challenges - this could be the perfect fit for you!


We are a remote-first team. Where you choose to work is up to you - we have an office in Abu Dhabi that you can utilize as often or little as you would like. 

Who you are:

  • You have proven work experience as an executive assistant, people administrator, legal secretary or relevant governance type role.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience (in a UAE regulated company, this is a plus).
  • You have excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
  • You are comfortable with change and constantly find ways to be proactive and get things done.
  • You pick up things quickly, your attitude and mindset is to do whatever it takes, never saying: 'that's not my job'.
  • You have a background with an understanding and/or hands-on experience in UAE labour laws and government portal processes (this is a plus).

What you'll do:

  • Support the day-to-day activities of our Internal Operations department.
  • Issue standard template letters and agreements within given timeframes.
  • People operations administration support including onboarding; visa and medical insurance processes; and employee records & compliance procedures.
  • Maintain training records including compliance, cyber & security.
  • Assist with annual service provider renewal negotiations; preparation of due diligence; and supporting legal compliance requirements.
  • Build a strong rapport within Sarwa and communicate internally about Internal Operations related queries and issues, maintain internal PeoplePortal.
  • Support & coordinate employee engagement events including team meetings
  • Assist with adhoc reporting support for compliance, finance and IT teams.
